EXCEL OPTICAL CORPORATION is one of the Japanese leading eyewear manufacturers.
Established in 1968, we are an independent Sabae-based company,
which is recognized to produce high-quality eyewear frames worldwide.
With more than 50 years of experience, specializing in Titanium, Titanium Alloy, combi of acetate and Titanium,
we produce over 50,000 frames per month for OEM/ODM and our private brands.
Our highly skilled staff of 90 craftsmen, from the initial project to the packaging by hand,
can provide world-class quality for our clients and to ensure each customer‘s needs.

HISTORY
- 1968Founded Sasaki Gankyo Seisakusyo (Sasaki Optical Mfg).
Began manufacturing ladies‘ plastic frames. - 1976Opened a new factory for full-scale production of metal frames.
Changed company name to EXCEL OPTICAL CORPORATION. - 1985Moved to new factory at the present location.
- 1996Installed Vertical machining centers.
- 2002Developed and launched Alpha & Beta Titanium frames.
- 2005Awardwd GP in division of function & technology at iOFT 2006.
- 2006Awarded a prize in division of men‘s Eyewear at iOFT 2007.
- 2011Installed a hydraulic crimping machine.
- 2015Installed a laser welding machine.
- 2019expamded electric resistance welding machine for soldering (DC inverter welding machine) .
- 2020Awarded a prize in division of ladies‘ Eyewear at iOFT 2021.
- 2021Awarded a prize in division of men‘s Eyewear at iOFT 2022
